The visit to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand Growth Triangle started from 16 May to 21 May. The aim is to understand the security and economic development within this area. Others aspect in understanding the economic, political, social and security cooperation among these countries. it also to assesss and analyse the socio-economic, security and development activities in the designated growth areas. To evaluate the development and security that contributes towards stability and improvement in bilateral relations. The delegation headed by the Dy Comdt of
the College Col Rosli bin Mohd Yusof RMAF, Col Ranjit Singh Ramday (DS Army), Capt Dato' Lee Kwang Lock (DS Navy), Col Zainal bin Hj Piee RMAF (DS Air) Col Sofian binKamarudin (HOSSIR). Two of lecturers Prof Dato' Zakaraia bin Ahmad and Assoc Prof Ruhanas harun also follow this visit. A part of DS, staf and CP the delegation also accompanied with 28 spouses, 1 finance office and 2 from BSPP.
The visit started with the journey by bus to Penang on 16 May 2010 and the next day the delegation visit 2 Div HQ and at Bukit Gedung Camp. After the security briefing by 2 Div staff, the delegation was briefed by PDC officer. The delegation departed
to Phuket by C130 ac from Butterworth Airbase 1530 and landed at Phuket international Airport after 40 minutes flight. In Phuket on the 18 May our group visited 3 rd naval Base in Padwa area and also was briefed on the security aspects and followed by Phuket District Officer. The delegation stayed at City Bayyview hotel at Jalan Farhurher in Penang, at Royal Phuket Hotel atPhuket town and at Grand Ashton at Medan city. On 20 our delegation visited KODAM 1/Bukit Barisan and follwoed to WALIKOTA. The last day the delegation will visit the interest places around Medan city. Wassalam
